One of the highlights of 2025 was the Embassy’s collaboration with the Kennedy Center on their international arts festival, “EARTH TO SPACE: Arts Breaking The Sky,” held from March 28–April 20.
The “Monaco’s Leap to the Stars” Panel Discussion featured experts (left) moderator Bob Cabana, a former NASA Associate Administrator and astronaut, former NASA Administrator Senator Bill Nelson, Astrolab Founder and CEO, Jaret Matthews, Axiom Chief Astronaut, Commander Michael López-Alegría, and the Smithsonian’s Under Secretary for Science and Research, Dr. Ellen Stofan. FLEX-LTV Rover Exhibit: From March 28 to April 1, 2025 visitors explored Astrolab’s Flexible Logistics and Exploration (FLEX) lunar rover and took photos up close! Astrolab is one of three companies selected by NASA to advance capabilities for the next lunar terrain vehicle for the Artemis Program. This multi-functional vehicle is a vital part of the infrastructure enabling humanity to survive and thrive on new worlds. Monaco’s Leap to the Stars: Innovations, Astronaut Perspectives, Lunar Exploration.
On March 29, the Embassy proudly presented a panel discussion on advancements in space technology, insights from astronauts, and the future of lunar exploration.
This event provided engaging conversations with experts (pictured above): Axiom Space’s Chief Astronaut, Commander Michael López-Alegría, the Smithsonian’s Under Secretary for Science and Research, Dr. Ellen Stofan, Astrolab Founder and CEO, Jaret Matthews, and former NASA Administrator Senator Bill Nelson.
The panel moderator was former NASA Associate Administrator and retired astronaut, Robert “Bob” Cabana.
