Co-hosted by Steve and Elaine Wynn of Wynn Resorts and the Consulate General of Monaco in New York on October 24, Casino Couture transformed the 7th floor of Sotheby’s into a glamorous casino salon privé featuring American and European gaming. Custom-made playing chips and cards were shipped in from Las Vegas for the event as were gaming tables, equipment and more than 50 croupiers and staff.

During the Casino Couture evening, guests had the opportunity to bid on the haute couture created by Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Lauren, Zac Posen, Ralph Rucci and Vera Wang. The dresses, inspired by outfits worn by Grace Kelly, were featured in the windows of Saks Fifth Avenue from October 19-26.

Notable attendees to the events included Prince Albert of Monaco and Miss Charlene WittstockSteve and Elaine Wynn, Hon. Maguy Maccario Doyle, Consul General of Monaco, fashion designers Vera Wang and Dennis Basso, singer Natalie Cole, model Carolyn Murphy (recently featured in Town & Country as a Grace Kelly look-alike), Academy Award-winning actress Celeste HolmJamie Niven (Vice Chairman of Sotheby’s and son of actor David), Ivana TrumpJoyce Randolph (sole surviving cast member of The Honeymooners), Sally Parrish Richardson and Rita Gam (both friends and bridesmaids to Princess Grace), interior designer Adam TihanyEmmanuel Perrin, President & CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels and members of New York City’s diplomatic and consular corps.

The evening raised over $250,000 for the Princess Grace Foundation-USA.
