Monaco's Tuiga & Viola Sail in 4th of July America250 Parade

The Sail4th 250 Parade of Tall Ships to commemorate America’s 250th birthday on July 4 in NYC’s Hudson River comprised more than 30 tall ships from around the world. Among them, the Monaco Yacht Club’s historic flagship, Tuiga, and her “little sister”, Viola, represented the Principality, cementing its friendship with the US, and its own proud maritime traditions (MonacoInfo).

Celebrating the Cinematic Legacy of A Princess

Paramount Pictures, the Embassy of Monaco, and the Motion Picture Association co-hosted a VIP reception and private screening of TO CATCH A THIEF to honor the cinematic legacy of US-born actress and cultural icon, Grace Kelly.
This year marked the 70th anniversary of the marriage – in April 1956 – of Prince Rainier of Monaco to Grace Kelly.

Monaco signs MoU with the America250 Commission

Monaco joined the USA’s 250th anniversary celebrations with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the America250 Commission, marking a new chapter for both nations who share deep and lasting ties. The MoU was signed by Ambassador Maguy Maccario Doyle and for America 250’s Commission it was signed by Chair Roise Rios.
