Ambassador Maguy Maccario Doyle with FOX5 D.C.’s reporter, Erin Como (above), celebrate the Principality’s holiday traditions and share some “Noël” cocktails using a unique, Monaco-made orange liqueur, L’Orangerie.

2026 marks two decades since Monaco established its Embassy in Washington D.C., anchoring a permanent diplomatic presence and deepening cooperation across the USA.

Exhibition: Grace of Monaco, Princess in Dior (2022-2023)

Grace of Monaco: Princess in Dior at Hillwood Estate, (link) from June 2022 to January 2023 showcased the fashion life of iconic Princess Grace and her long collaboration with French haute couturier, Christian Dior, and Maison Dior’s artistic director, Marc Bohan.

Les Ballets at the Kennedy Center in November 2022

On Monaco’s National Day, November 19, 2022, the Embassy welcomed guests to a performance of Cendrillon (Cinderella) by Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo for their debut tour at the Kennedy Center. At pre- and post-performance receptions, VIP guests from Washington, D.C.’s social, diplomatic, government and business communities, including many Ambassadors from countries which have nationals in Les Ballets company.

The “G20” of gastronomy, Le Club des Chefs des Chefs (CCC) held their annual summit in Washington, D.C. in early November, 2023 . . .

It’s the world’s most exclusive club!

CCC members must be Chef to their nation’s head of state or government.

“Monaco’s Leap to the Stars” panel was moderated by former NASA associate administrator and retired astronaut Robert “Bob” Cabana.  Panellists included luminaries from the world of space: Jaret Matthews, founder and CEO of Astrolab, Ellen Stofan, Under Sec. for Science and Research at the Smithsonian (and former NASA Chief Scientist), Sen. Bill Nelson, astronaut (and ex-NASA Administrator), and Commander Michael Lopez-Alegria, Chief Astronaut at Axiom Space.
